Mad Max, you would be proud! I spent last night on a ride along with the local Sheriff Dept. Not very exciting, as far as the "Cops" scale goes, but very illuminating nonetheless. Today, however, I went to the OPMC race and thought I was about to enter the thunder dome. Think 100 motorcycles all throttling to max RPMs and then flying through the air. Sometimes I love my freelance assignments, and this was definitely one of them.

My 1D performed flawlessly and I got a good opportunity to see how "weather proof" this camera system is. It rained on and off the entire day and I didn't worry about it at all. This photo is pretty much the culminating event for me, I nailed the tracking without IS. I used a Canon 24-70 2.8L on the 1D to capture this photo. Of course, you don't get to see how many times it took me to get here... :D
